I didn't notice any motive or attitude. It must be in your head.
Nor me, barsel.
As I just reported. You have the problem. You now opine my motive and attitude. Seriously sad and troubled. I didn’t reply to your post for an argument but you could start one in an empty room!!

Gromit - I find Paul Anka's cover versions make my teeth itch!

I am great believer that any good song will translate into any format, but the idea of any sort of edgy rock song being smoothed into a sub-Sinatra big band arrangement, with all the menace and excitement and rebellion crushed out of it for the benefit of a TV audience who wouldn't know Nirvana if they saw them across the street, really grinds my gears.

But that's the entire delight of music - it can inspire adoration - as in the audience here - or utter distaste and derision, as from me, and there is room for all of us.

Quite possibly, but then any and all interpretations of anything on here is in the head of the receiver, that's kind of how communication works.

Retrocop has answered my post, and I have no interest in getting into a pointless off-thread argument with you, or any other bandwagon jumpers, so I will leave it there.
Andy, I've no intention of falling out with you or anyone else, I was just pointing out I did not see any problem with Retro's post, and neither did Naomi.
Must admit I've never been accused of jumping onto a bandwagon before. I think perhaps we are all guilty of imagining people we don't actually know are not as we perceive them.

I am sure we do.

I am equally sure that some on this thread - present company excepted - make a virtual profession out of pursuing their irrational dislike of strangers.
Andy, can you tell me how many minutes in he starts to play/sing Billy Jean please?
I hate all that waffling at the beginning of a song.
4mins 14secs
god 2 songs slaughtered!!! imho

"that's how ..... works" is getting old now.
Haha. No one else could fup their own thread without even realising it.
All together now. ♪♪With my little ukulele in my hand, of course the people do not understand♪♪
Saw this guy a few years ago, stunning performance.
Very pleasing Dagman. That's how I like to listen to Ukulele music. Thanks
Glad you like it Retrocop, I like his version better than the original strangely! I do like the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, seen them twice in concert.
Indeed. A terrific display of finger work on the fret. I have most of their CD albums and a DVD concert. Great entertainers who always introduce humour into their renditions.
It's bloody awful.

But all for it, if it gets Wacko turning in his grave.

Your privilege.
So not a uke, but a bigger one with more strings.

Great version.
