My elderly friend who seems to have been on Answerbank for years and persuaded me to join
told me the best way to get to know members is to ask questions (easier said than done). He also jokingly (I hope) added to put on my bullet-proof vest before I logged in!

Today's question is have any of you ever indulged in online dating or chat? If so, did you ever meet up with him/her? How did things go? I think I might get into a panic re ameeting though
I can comfortably chat to a stranger I might encounter when in a pub, club or at a function. Face to face might be a disappointment for either party.

Open to discussion even if you haven't experienced the above.

I hope I haven't got big ears, if I have nobody has commented on them. Changing the theme slightly, I was taken to see a male strip show for the first time, against my better judgement. The first two strippers were dressed as ET and Postman Pat - I wondered what on earth was going on but I did not enjoy the rest. My friend took her cigarette lighter out and said it was in case they came too close!

I met my husband on online dating nearly 20 years ago ,tried a few frogs, but then found him and never looked back
