Whoever it was paid to view pictures of a teenager, we could probably all agree they've ruined their career and their life.
I don't suppose there'll be any sympathy for them, but should there be?
The Blue Angel film told a similar fictional story from nearly a century ago.

Dietrich looked rather older than her 29 years - she became a lot more svelte and mysterious in her later films - and it wasn't easy to see what the hapless Professor Rath saw in her. Though her character is sometimes seen as a heartless gold-digger, she married his and tries hard to be a good wife but as he sinks into shame and despair she eventually leaves him for the variety troupe's strong man.
