I have just been invited by my firm to attend events in non Binary day! Perlease! at first I thought it was some sort of tech seminar! WTEE F is going on in the world!?

I would love to be a fly on the wall for that one....
Back in the days of E and D training the trainer struggled when she realised with a bit of session swapping we had managed to fill the seminar with as many gay and lesbian staff members as possible. Every time she started about race, someone would hold up their hand and go ' what about us' then the disabled participants joined in, happy days.

If it's only an invite, then you can politely refuse to attend, can't you?

I wont be going, never said it was compulsory it just amazes me that this sort of thing is even going round the firm, all this cobras is irrelevant to our primary function and indeed our individual jobs.
