( problem with term of abuse is that someone was kicked to death near me ( around 20 y ago) as a case of wrong identity -it was someone else . The pleader swore in court, rather limply, that he didnt mean to do it. OK then

I always thought of a perve as being and looking creepy and being fascinated by people he finds sexually attractive. I think that a young man fitting that definition wouldn't really be considered a perve, but an oldish man would be; that's why I'm careful to avoid lingering gazes, drooling lips and suggestive remarks whenever I'm in the presence of an attractive young woman. Inscidentally, it's amazing how attractive young women are these days: whenever I go to the spectators' seats at the local piscine, or sit on a bench in the square on a hot summer day, or watch the Joan Hunter-Dunns on the telly box at this time of year the young women are rather stunning.
