I deplore all this drag Queen stuff been stuffed down young kids faces.
The alphabet people getting all their own way and shoving homosexuality/lesbianism in the face of kids
I don't care what my son's sexuality is. I don't care what my granddaughters sexuality may be.
I just dont want it shoved in my face.
If you want to wear leather pants and prance around in a tight t-shirt go for it.
Ive never once seen a heterosexual pride march.
Just saying.
Going lose a few friends over this...
Each to his own, not a problem.
Had loads of hetro/gay/lesbian friends
over the years.
Cant even mention it now!

I will if you will.
//i misread your post and didnt read the "i don't think.."//
I misread your earlier post in which you referred to your "Year 6" daughter as your 6-year-old daughter and was completely perplexed, knowing that you had earlier on referred to your 11-year-old daughter. I wondered whether the other daughter had come from all of a sudden but went back and read it again when it suddenly became clear.

I can never recall being repressed or oppressed as a white, middle class, heterosexual woman (thankfully, those battles were fought by my ancestresses), but I am sure that if I had experienced oppression or discrimination as a result of my sexual orientation or identification, I might want to celebrate those chains being lifted.
It is within living memory that male homosexuality was a crime (punishable by death until about 1835) and only decriminalised for over 21s in 1967. Even one of our most brilliant scientists (Turing) was chemically castrated in 1952.
To be honest, I do not notice it being "forced" down anyone's throat. I see little activism or it being shoved in my face when I am out and about. The only place I see it is the media and websites and I can just ignore them should I wish to.

letters and odd names, in schools as well, focus groups cancelling people.. its like some in society have lost there morals, all a bit odd to me at my age, it's not the gays as no one cares anymore, it's as iv mentioned.

I agree and also love the term "alphabet people"!
I don't care what colour, creed or sexuality anyone is but I do object to having it in my face everywhere I look.
It is not only the media. My Santander cash point has we support Pride showing on it permanently. Which is completely unnecessary.
Agree with OG it does alienate people who would be OK without the constant in your face.
