Bbc Quiz : Week 28

Here we are again, folks, at the start of a typical British summer’s weekend. (i.e. with rain and gales forecast for most of us!).

After a total disaster last week, I’m back to my more normal ‘middling’ performance in the main quiz this week, with a score of FOUR out of seven:

I could only manage just TWO out of five in the junior quiz though - but that’s still twice as good as I did last week anyway!

So that’s an aggregate score of 12 for me this week, which I’m sure many of you will beat easily enough.

4/7,2/5,4/10. Had an enjoyable time at the athletics last Saturday despite the torrential downpour for the men’s 100m ( could not actually see the race from our stand it was so dark). Scores not so good this week, Puss Puss purring away as usual, Bailey failed on his guard duties and let a strange kitty into the back bedroom. Hope all is good with you and yours, off to work today

'Reasonable' scores from you this week, I think. (At least you managed double figures!)

I'm glad that you had a good (if somewhat wet) time at the athletics.

Watch out, you could soon find that you've got three cats instead of two!

My lot are starting to trust me again after my (totally failed) attempts to get some 'spot on' flea treatment onto them this week. (Poor little Moonbeam's coat is looking very thin, as it seems to take just a single flea bite to trigger n allergic reaction with him, meaning that he can't stop scratching). I'm hoping to be able to hide some flea tablets inside some chicken soon though, in the hope that it'll clear up their flea problem.

Otherwise though, we're all well, as I hope that you, Bailey and Puss Puss all are too.

Good morning, late on parade again, had my grandsons last night but as they were as good as gold it's not much of an excuse. Had a little help from the older one , he knew a couple that I knew and his guessing is on a par with mine but we managed a reasonable 4,5,4, aggregate of 13. I knew all the children's one this week, the boys have brought out my inner child!
