Vokera Boiler

Hi there,

I have a vokera boiler, and last night it started to make a weird noise like a humming, kind of ships horn sort of annoying noise - any suggestions as to what it might be

I am not familiar with this sort of boiler, but assuming there is a built-in pump within it (even if not there will be one in the vicinity) I would suspect that it is the most likely source of such a noise. It may be worn or there may be some tiny debris caught in it or just possibly a small air bubble.

did you get this resolved? my boiler makes exactly the same noise - to clear it all i need to do is run the hot water tap for a second, then the noise disapears. but this is a pain when the noise kicks in at 6am!!!

in my case the noise only occurs when the boiler timer starts up after being off for a few hours.
