The better question would be, do I have confidence in government (full stop). Not much. Occasionally someone seems to believe in democracy, western values, the UK, and it's citizens, but they are rare, possibly have other motives that just happen to fit, and get attacked by the rest of parliament, the civil service, and other noisy interest groups.

A plague on all their parties.
