Rain here is of biblical proportion , Keilder reservoir will burst its banks at this rate, that’s the bad news, my feel happy is a young Iranian friend who came here from Tehran about 12 years ago , couldn’t speak English at all, went to the local college to learn it, eventually qualified as a dental nurse through sheer hard work then four years ago , she enrolled in Tees University and today has qualified as a Scientist , I’m thrilled for her, no sponging from the state for this young lady

A shower this morning - weather that is - and now brilliant sunshine.

As I think I mentioned, I got a dose of that a couple of weeks ago in Montreal, I have never seen rain and lightning, and heard thunder, like it in my life.
