and disagreed with
radio 4 this morning - which got it wrong I thought
everyone agrees that if you are wrongly deprived of your liberty it is wrong to make you pay for the porridge you have no choice about eating, and wouldnt normally ( sort of )
also - the pay for food rule was 2003 - and for cases that were acquitted on a technicality
he then said - "and this clearly wasnt !"
A case where one of the great and good who rule us for our own good gets it wrong and congradicts himself
also I remember a ruckus that the IRA bombers had to pay for this and that.... in the good old days where it was thought they had really done and they just hem hem had good lawyers ( 17 y in the slammer).
anyway he said " everyone would agree that a charge for board...."
and I thought NOPE
