From your link it shows that the figure given by Gromit, of 507 fires for EVs in 5 years was for London only. As I hinted, is data being skewed to meet a preferred conclusion. As it is in other campaigns to win public approval. Another question that is given no direct answer is ,are hybrid EVs included in ICE stats?

Just come in on the end of this thread. I read last week that it is a national Fire Brigade instruction that two appliances attend an electric car fire instead of the normal one for an I.C.E. fire. Such is the intensity of the fire when these battery's go up.
