Hurrah! A comfortable temperature for me and an excuse not to do the weeding today.

Anything cheering you up today?

The football's back!
Barry, I’m with you on the low comfortable temps. I love this weather.
Other reasons to be cheerful? No one died overnight. I’ve got my beautiful cat snuggled next to me. I think I will stop there or I’ll be going round touching wood all day :)
No need to wash your car!
Awesome, one task less for the day.

Happy days for you, piggy, but I expect there will be a few tears, too :)
Already wet out there so it’ll be indoor chores for me with maybe a cheeky couple of hours out with Mr B to the local pub between 3-5 this afternoon to break the day, 12 degrees here too
08.15 sorry Barry, I wuz being sarcy. I cudnt give a monkeys!
Why do us brummies say that?
It is a wet sodden morning in Norfolk. I did my gardening yesterday and am enjoying my last day off before work tomorrow, have got shopping this morning and the Canaries on the radio this afternoon.

Clover, I can just about tolerate the heat if I can sit in the shade with a good book, preferably with a breeze.
Piggy, I went all round the Wrekin and still don't know why we say don't give a monkey's uncle.

Didn't realise you were so rich, bobbi. The price of pub drinks us scandulous
Not rich but comfortable Barry ;0)
It's not 'uncle' though, that's another saying.

It's a way of swearing without swearing.
I'm expecting a high of 56 this afternoon (mph) when Antoni arrives
:-((
Winds gusting to 47 here later. Guess there will be no walk in the park...the threat of flying branches is too great.
I could really do with some temps in the low 20s...am fed up with this dire chill. There's enough of that to come.
Cheering me up was an email from my brother...he's sounding so much happier.
Toby is asking for another session of me kicking foil balls to him...that's my exercise. Yay!
it is pretty well tipping down in Manch
Stop/start drizzle here in Burnley-by-the-canal. My dad used to call it 'annoying weather'.

William 51; hope Ashley Barnes has a good season for you, he's a gem who will give his all for the cause.
