Problem Getting New Email Address To Appear
9 Answers
I left BT internet over a year ago (never change your email address!) but it still pops up in various places where it is not wanted.
I clicked on the envelope symbol below a newspaper article that I wanted to send to a friend and up comes the To/ From form with my BT address and that cannot be removed or changed or my new one added.
Somehow, I managed to get to a page XXX where the old address was displayed and I was invited to add another, but this involved receiving a code to my phone and I didn't have it handy at the time. The message has expired but I cannot find page XXX again.

I've had several conversations about this, changed my browser and eventually had to settle for copying the link and sending separately, but that way, if the recipient isn't a Times subscriber they can't read the article. This problem is not peculiar to Times. Some sites happily change yr email address, others put up all sorts of obstacles and / or have different systems for changing.
It seems I need to find that (MS Profile?) page again.

I'm not too sure what's going on, but are you referring to the autofill option on your laptop, where forms are automatically filled out??
