Birds Eye Breaded Fish Fillets

If their size continues to shrink they'll soon be no bigger than fish fingers.
Is fish, in all its varieties, no longer affordable for some?

Sandy, if it says fish fillets on the box, it's pollock. If it says cod fillets, it's cod. At the moment, Tesco sell the fish fillets for £4 but the cod fillets are on special at £4.50, well worth the extra .50p. If you shop at Tesco, try their chunky cod fillets. I won't eat panga or basa. I don't like the taste or texture of either. We do eat a lot of salmon, bass, trout, hake and haddock, and still enjoy cod loin.
I've just looked at Bird's Eye website and the breaded fish fillets are pollock - we used to call it coley.
As for frozen breaded fish products, too many companies think it is acceptable to label the product as 'white fish'. How is that legal? I can't buy a 'red meat' pie

They do battered and breaded at the same price.
Make sure it says chunky on the box.
