As you know if you are interested I have the above about maybe 2 months now but can I ask anybody does it affect your legs - I am having difficulty in walking.
Could very well be Sciatica, Bulging Disk, or other Spinal issues.
And have you been checked for Osteoporosis?
I had 3 fractures in my lower back in late 2020 so I understand the pain and had Sciatica for nearly 4 years- it is Horrible!
I hope you can get the right diagnosis and treatment as soon as possible.
I don't understand Jenny - if the X-ray people told you that you had a fracture of your lumbar spine, surely this would be reported to whoever requested the X-ray (GP or Private)for further investigation and treatment?
sorry Barry - I am only up and not very bright at this time of morning. Yes they did send scan results of the back to the doctor
I am still waiting on the scan of my head, so I contacted the X-ray people on the phone last week. I got the scan done on 30 June - x-ray people told me they sent the scan results on 6 July - yet the receptionist (old doctor) said no results were there.
I am going to new doctor on Friday and I hope they do something about it.
nope Moore - that's why I am glad to leave them - imagine that. Only I am going to new doctors I would pay privately for physio or acupuncture but I'll see what they say.
Yes , a fracture of the lumbar spine, will affect your walking for a time but as there has been no medical panic, one assumes that it a fracture of a transverse process, which supports some muscles of the leg and will give pain and difficulty in walking and bending.
No big deal.
You need to take simple analgesics e.g Ibuprofen or Paracetamol and perform painful movements as best you can. It may take weeks to settle.
