Wolf. Bbc Tv Series

Well, I’ve just watched the first Ep of the above and found it THE most bizarre thing I’ve ever seen. It had elements of Tales of the unexpected, in parts I wondered whether I should be laughing as the lines were so quirky, and there were stereotypes galore who seemed to speak in 1970s cop-show cliches.
I will watch another simply out of curiosity.

1. Where does a Wolf feature?
2. What had the family done to deserve the treatment that the two bogus policemen meted out to them?
3. Who, exactly, was the "boss" who was behind the torture?

As far as I could make out The Boss was the daughter and she having an affair/relationship with the slightly chubbier bogus policeman. The two of them wanted her father to transfer money to them. She had psychological problems for many years and the two of them were responsible for the original murders of the two children. No idea about Wolf
I considered watching it but I am glad that I didn't - all too confusing.
