He is undoubtedly correct. Overturning such a huge majority will be very difficult. A hung parliament is the more likely scenario.

Even if all 45 red wall seats were lost by the Conservatives, there is no guarantee that Labour would win all of them. If the LibDems get some, Labour’s majority will disappear.
Gully dream on, Blunkett is correct, they need a world record swing and they don't have the numbers. Did you do Rithmetic at school?
The recent Somerton and Frome by-election saw the LibDems win by a record swing away from the Conservatives.

Blunkett was saying if Labour get a majority it will be a miracle (because it would be extremely unlikely). I agree with that, I assumed you would too.
If the Scottish Labour socialists can defeat the SNP nationalists it would be a boost for Labour all over the UK.However the SNP nationalist sheep....
Gromit at 14:19 is most likely the outcome. The exact makeup of that hung parliament remains to be seen.
