As Tories brace themselves for a General Election wipe out.
Ousted MPs were entitled to two months severance pay £8,600 after losing their seats. But The Con MPs in the Con Crony Club who will lose their seats at the next GE will receive £17,300 . But this will not apply to MPs who step down before the GE Perhaps this is why Dosser Dorries is hanging about

Alleluia!
So that will only be for Tory MP's will it?
You do realise it is the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) - which governs MPs' expenses that approved this. Not MP's of any colour.
That makes no sense. Why will the conservatives get more?
Question Author
15.44 Yes ! Because only Tory MPs will be losing their seats at the next GE
Question Author
15 53 "Why will the cons get more" Because the Cons are the party of greed and gravy trains at the tax payers expense.
You’re talking nonsense.
Do you remember those dolls with a string which you pulled and they said a few trite phrases?

Remind you of anyone?
It is an independent panel who have brought this in.
But I am sure a very lot of Conservative MPs will benefit from this.

They will now be paid for 4 months after losing their jobs. So 16 weeks before they sign on to Jobseekers :-)
I’ve asked why the Conservatives will get more but no one has answered. Gromit?
Naomi,
The Tories have a huge majority so they are bound to lose scores of MPs. The old red wall one with tiny majorities look very vulnerable.
They might still win the election but lose 30-40 seats.
That doesn’t answer the question, gromit.
As has been said, it will apply to all MPs.

That said, I believe that if a sitting MP is not re-elected, they should not receive any more than anyone who is sacked from a job (which is in effect what has happened to them).
So the OP is nonsense.

I must have misunderstood your question, what was it again ?
I hadnt realised they got so little

no wonder they are always on the make
Question Author
Naomi 17.14 Because they want more ,they think they deserve more .they think they are privileged.
'How' will Conservative MPs get more than Labour MPs? How does that work? You need to tell us where you got this information, Gulliver, because what you're saying makes no sense at all.
