This is proved by the large graph in the DM article below, showing both the German and UK growth figures for the last 6 quarters – take a look if you don’t believe me.
The only problem is that over those 6 quarters the German economy averaged a lowly +0.166% growth, while the soar-away UK economy managed a fantastic +0.150%.

Both you and the Daily Mail have it wrong. The chart shows GDP growth, not absolute GDP.
The main point the chart makes is that, despite being told that Brexit has destroyed the UK economy (principally by the OP) the fact is that GDP growth here is near enough the same as that of Germany - certainly 0.016% difference is within the amount of statistical reliability. When I last looked, Germany had not left the EU.
