So very fatigued due to tail end of chemo.
Decide to visit car wash and treat car to wash and dry.
Join queue and 4 cars ahead of me at this super car wash that is popular.
Thus Start car pull forward , cut engine, start car pull forward ...
Make it into car wash and off it goes.
Wash finishes.
Press foot down on Clutch and press start button.
Dash board lights up like a Christmas tree and click click a dozen times with all dash lights flashing and it says System Fault ...errr
Try a few times and the same.
Handbrake is electronic and stuck on.
A few chaps tried to push car out , but no chance with hand brake on.
Called dealership and they Key Fob has lost code and get spare.
So car wash now shut due to me blocking it and took taxi home and got spare Key Fob, leaving car unlocked.
Back to garage and still no good. Phone RAC and 2-3 hour wait.
Phoned dealership and then agreed to send a technician out to me.
He arrived after 15 mins and said battery is flat.
So goes away to get a new battery. Returns after 20 minutes fits new battery and it starts and handbrake releases ok.
All done under warranty as car is only 18 months old and only done 9,000 miles.
I think because of my illness and only doing trips under 6 miles for last couple of. Moths did battery in ?
Oh well I single handily put the new super car wash out of action for 2 hours.

Well it looked like that, Tony...but it was black.....it was the one that had the bumper that wrecked the petrol pump at my local garage....when the fire service had to come and evacuate all the nearby residents.....you remember.....
And often it would only start if I lifted the bonnet and hit the engine with my son's yellow plastic baseball bat....
Oh and the boot jammed when I took my friend in labour to the hospital......we couldn't get her long packed bag back out....
But it was a nice car.....x

Did no one think to try jump " it ..
Remember this is a car wash .. as soon as you work for an employer, they become responsible for any damage you may cause as an employee, to any customers property.
Having attended many breakdowns I have seen the end result of getting the jump leads on the wrong connections !
