The son of Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine, Richard I (The Lion Heart) was crowned in Westminster. Ironically he spent a grand total of 6 months in England!

Well being King of England, Duke of Normandy, Aquitaine and Gascony; Lord of Cyprus; Count of Poitiers, Anjou, Maine, and Nantes; and overlord of Brittany must have been rather time consuming. And the weather’s better in France.
Didn't get as far as Vichy then.

There is nothing odd about this. Looking back at historical facts like this shows how life was in the distant past.These days we live by more modern standards and this would not happen now.
