Fairly recently in the centre of Bristol we a group of protesters waving refugees welcome banners, I hope they are proud of themselves when these employees are looking for work.

Well, at least the hotel story is up to date although it would appear that only zero hours contract people have been ‘dumped’ so far.

Yes I know its from February, i'm simply pointing out they are happy to welcome refugee but at the cost of others.

I've always wondered why there are people who want to let all the illegal immigrants into this country, what are their reasons and is there no limit in their eyes? If anyone out there is one of those people, please explain.

To treat British employees in this callous way is despicable, whoever thought up this plan should be ashamed. It does not matter who, just vote this government out next year.

interestingly their local MP has written to the home secretary describing the situation as "unacceptable"; interesting, for the MP is Lisa "refugees welcome" Nandy, Labour's shadow minister for levelling up. clearly refugees welcome - except when they come to my backyard.
