I suspect those who are living in absolute poverty are too poor to afford an internet connection to tell you how bad things are. If you listen to the news, people are having to go without food and cannot afford their medication – and Tory-boy laments that they may not have the latest iphone.

Nope. Twas Alistair Darling who was C of the E under Gordon Brown. Together, they saved this country from total financial meltdown, caused by the collapse in the USA of the sub-prime market. Without the action that they took, this country would have turned into a banana republic. They saved the banks; they saved companies; they saved the finances of millions. The Tories would have done exactly the same. The cause of it all had nothing to do with Labour, but Labour prevented this country from going into financial ruin.
