Any Tory seat with a majority of less than 20,000 is in real danger of being lost, given that the electorate seem to be waking up to the fact that the Tory government is completely incompetent.
There will be the usual protest vote and Labour will win. There will be claims from Labour that this means the conservatives will be wiped out at the next GE. There will be claims from the cons that this is not reflective of the general public’s voting at the next GE. And the truth will probably be somewhere between.
when Chris Pincher took the seat off Labour's Brian Jenkins in 2010, the result was a lot closer - 21k to 15k. Jenkins held the seat for 15 years and was first elected at by-election following the death of the previous MP, David Lightbown.

It's by no means a safe seat, and the pundits could be right - labour victory.
just as an aside - Most Conservative MPs haven't resigned.......
The Writings on the wall for Richi and his Con men, two bye elections on the way, and the Cons are going to lose them both, Just call a GE. Now!
........Let's get the Cons out.....
