I was taking Metatone to help with the fatigue I’ve got
with long covid. It’s increasingly difficult to obtain unless I pay quite a lot for it. Does anyone know when it will be back in general circulation? I’m taking Floradix at the moment but have to remember to take it 30 minutes before food and I keep forgetting to do that.

Simply including fish in your diet should be all that you need to do to get the thiamine that was in Metatone.
Yogurt would also provide you with thiamine, as well as the calcium that's in Metatone.
You almost certainly don't need the sodium that was in Metatone and it's probably unlikely that you'd need any extra potassium (which was in Metatone) either. If you did though, an occasional banana would do the job for you.

Thanks Barry. Since I’ve had Long Covid I find it is a struggle to enjoy any food - and don’t mention bananas! I couldn’t eat one if you paid me, and I used to always have one for bread. I have tiny ready meals now and never cook ‘proper’ food. I’m hoping it will go eventually but it’s a year last April when it started.
I feel for you, I enjoy my food. Many years ago my wife was prescribed sachets of powder that were made up with water in to an orange drink to boost her appetite. We can't think what it was called but it worked.
If you are not eating enough you are going to feel fatigued and not be happy in yourself. I'm sure you know all this but as well as trying to eat the 'right' food, eat any high fat, high calorie food that you fancy in small quantities but often. Your stomach will get used to having food in it again and it might trigger hunger pangs and your appetite. Rice pudding, custard, ice cream....you get the idea.
An apple always makes me hungry, no idea why.
