Good morning, Birdies.

Does anyone have anything nice planned for today?

I'm just working from home as usual for a Tuesday. Nothing dreadfully exciting to report.

Wishing everyone a very Happy, pleasant day, whatever you have planned.

Another two full days Lcg then we fly home on Friday , really good flight times, get in around 3-20 in the afternoon
Good to know LadyC. All is well with us all not pining but as expected missing them as much as they love me.
Morning! Just working today

I suppose all good things much come to and end, Bobbi, but it's always nice to have something else to look forward to.
I’m always ready for home in the last couple of days , as the song goes, “ It’s nice to go travelling’ but it’s oh so nice come back “
Question Author
Definitely no place like home, Bobbi. I could cheerfully hibernate all winter long.

Oh bless them, Arky. Dogs are such loving creatures x
Good Morning LadyCG and other birdies. Sun is streaming down but then I live in the town which is deemed to be the sunnniest in Scotland! No work commitments today so will take things as they come - will watch the footie friendly Scotland v England around 5 pm on TV. Come on ye Scots!
Question Author
Good morning, Hazlinny. I had no idea there was a Scotland V England match on. OH might have mentioned it, but in one ear and out the other...

No work commitments sounds good, as does being in a sunny place. I somehow doubt the sun is going to put in an appearance where I live today. I just hope the rain holds off when at school chucking-out time.

I have had an enormous crow in the garden looking for food.
Two fat pigeons here - goodness knows what they find but they peck away at the grass!

Footie is a 150th Anniversary game - a friendly.
Question Author
We have two pigeons that perch on the fence at the bottom of the garden that tend to get quite amorous.

I suspect I know what OH will be wanting to watch later on then...
Hazi, would you prefer a Thistle or a Rose?
Think you know the answer to that Arky!
Question Author
Depends what you're going to do with it...
If we only had two pigeons that would be wonderful. We have no end of the things. They cannot do anything quietly and are terrible parents.
Moved into the sunroom , it’s 32 degrees and I’m not a sun worshipper at all , my grandson flew out to join us on Sunday, he’s gone with his Mum & Dad to Fuengirola market , I’d rather stick pins in my eyes :0(
In fact I find Fuengirola a bit seedy , tomorrow we’re booked to go for a meal ( all of us) in-laws is this Friday, ours onSaturday , also the first anniversary of my granddaughter’s death on the 16th, there’s a tiny church in the rock in Mijas Pueblo which I’ll go to and light candles for her,my son, his partner and my other grandson
Question Author
That will be a lovely way to remember her, Bobbi. xx
With the long estrangement me and my son had, I’d be lying if I said anything other than, she was my own flesh and blood and never deserved to die at such a young age so it’s an act of respect ,my heart breaks for her brother and her parents
LadyCG/ Apologies - see that the footie match is on at 19.45 Ch.4 - not 17.00 as I originally thought.
Question Author
Thanks, Haz. That's probably better because we'll have the little one in bed and dinner will be done by then.
