Don't think I've seen like it for years, let alone the thunder and lightning!! Guess the heat has just been building up to it.......guess it saves me watering the garden tomorrow lol!

Well, it's sunny again but I honestly haven't seen anything like that for years - the lightning literally illuminated the whole sky.

I live in Greater London, New Addington - which is classed as Croydon lol. Honestly, I've never seen a storm like it! Think the weeks and weeks of heat have just built up to it.

Yes, it certainy was a showstopper down here earlier, spectacular and really awesome. Like we used to get back in the Fifties 😊.

Think the worst storm I have ever been in was in Croatia where  the lightning seemed to be in different colours - amazing!

My dog didn't like it. I had to get up and stay with him. He was very frightened.

my dog didn't like it either scartched up the landing carpet trying to get into our room . So we let her in and then never heard a peep out of her snuggled up on the bed the 2 boy dogs didn't bother stirring
