There is a programme running on Friday nights regarding the training of the dogs etc, one thing that hasnt been mentioned is poo, are the dogs trained not to poo outside? are the owners exempt from having to pick it up?

The owners are exempt from picking up.

The dogs are trained to poo on demand, by pressing lightly on their back.  Owners usually do this in the same place, at the same time each day.

UK law gives an exemption for a registered blind/visually impaired person who has a Guide Dog from picking up the excrement, however, if they have a sighted person with them, then the sighted person is expected to pick it up.
but I also read that they are trained to go on command so if they go to a park etc.
