Just had an email reminder from my insurers  about this, that's never happened before so it must be a nasty one

DT might have wind, but it's died down completely here...only 9mph. Not to worry...gusts to 40mph 12 hours from now. No rain though.

gentle breezes predicted here all week. I thank the Lord I am not a provincial.

Apparently more people are killed by storms with women's names than men's.

 

It's thought that people feel less worried by 'female' storms, so take more risks.

Have storm severity levels been changed for the newer generations who love a drama from a crisis I wonder, like air pollution levels and pass marks in exams.

 

In closing, weather forecasters are a bit crap although many are nice to look at.

 It is a cool overcast morning in Norfolk and i will be prepared for the stormy stuff. I hope it is not too destructive.

Just remember, weather doesn't exist anymore, every bit of shall we say extreme weather is called climate change. Won't be long now before the bbc weather forecast announcers that there is a band of climate change coming in from the Atlantic.
