Budgeting to match their opponents spending limit has been Labour's election strategy since at least 1992.

With the Tories currently inflicting the highest taxes since 1985, and unable to afford a tax cut before the General Election due to their poor handling of the economy, their chances look very bleak.

i don't think Labour will win Tamworth. The Conservative majority of nearly 20,000 is too large. When it is a marginal next year in the General Election, Labour will have a better chance of taking it.
