Ab'ers For Dinner.
Following on from Bobisox below...
Which ABers would you have over for dinner and why?
(Please, no Hannibal Lector gags)
If it were possible I would have you all over.
ABers represent a broad divergency of life and opinions and thats how it should be.
Personally, I would have my AB Facebook friends over
(Smow, Murray etc)
Then I would have Buenchico just so that I could pick his brains about almost anything.
Then there is naomi. Would love to meet her in person. Comes across as very well read.
Opposite ends of the political spectrum but the same side re: religion.
(If Theland was still with us he would most def get an invite. No other religionist on AB comes close)
Atheist would get an invite because, well, he's an atheistπ
Would love to meet Sqad. A cantankerous GP. Gotta be a laugh there surely?
Douglas. A quick wit that would be welcome at any party.
Andy Hughes, because he's a fellow Stokie.
Tilly, because she's also a fellow Stokie who I have met and she is such a sweet lady.
New Judge to pick his brains on some points of law.
There are many others. This was just a quick summery.

Thanks very much for my invitations - and I too want to say well done to Canary! Brilliant!
I would hire a huge marquee and invite everyone - and for those who couldn't leave their troubles at home a handy boxing ring would be provided. ;o)
I wonder how many names could be put to faces in the real world?
No one wants me, boo hoo π’
To be honest I'm a bit like Countrylover, I like small (no more than six, at a push eight) for dinner. I love good company at dinner, people to chat to and enjoy the too and fro of conversation.
There's a couple of people here I'd quite like to enjoy a drink with, in the pub or somewhere, but no more than that. And I'd never name names...squad...so I didn't upset anyone.
My dinner party days are well and truly over π₯³
I'm ok, thanks, Lottie, but himself has had Covid which has seriously affected his asthma. He's been lucky not to be admitted to hospital to be honest and it's put the wind up both of us. The last couple of weeks have been difficult..I know I'm not alone in that, but sometimes the worry becomes overwhelming.
I hope you're doing ok x
Lottie, I'd introduce you to my older, but ever so positive brother. He's been through the mill healthwise like you, as I've mentioned. But he alternates between bitching about American politics and wishing he could get in the garden. He too has not left home in months. Well, not physically. When I sent him photos a few weeks ago of our excursion to a winery followed by the Eden Project...he jumped right on Google Earth and found his way there.
