Coincidence - Or Something More Sinister ?

This morning I had a tooth extracted.

Online this evening I'm being bombarded with Implant ads.

How did they know ?

That's very strange!  I know if I surf around looking for an item, I suddenly find promotions about a similar item flooding the screen but having a tooth extraction is a different matter.

it happens quite a lot to me; I assume that the firm has sold on my details

Couple of years back, just a few days after a Specsavers appointment, i was bombarded with ads for glasses and contact lenses.

Did you use the Wi-Fi at the dentist? If so it will be influencing your ads. 
Or have you looked up anything about tooth extraction on the internet?

That sort of thing happens all the time. Google also tracks where you go so registered a visit to the dentist but the details were probably sold on.
