The PM was accused of "desperate stuff" by holding a business event in Nottingham, breaking the political tradition that the two Parties "Do not hijack each others annual party conference......With the Tories trailing 17 points behind Labour.  The Pm was addressing a meeting with staff at a Currys repair centre ,when asked .Why should we vote vote Conservative with the mess Liz Truss has caused  Why should we vote for you or your Party.  The PM laughed awkwardly.
