Hamas Hostage Threats

Hamas has decreed that they will kill one hostage for every unannounced bombing sortie or Artillery strike into the Gaza strip.Apparently the IDF Airforce are still bombing the strip. IDF ground forces are massing forces on the border for a threatened invasion by ground forces soon. My question is, Has Israel washed their hands of the 100 or so hostages and prove their determination to wipe out Hamas whatever the cost? Surely Mossad can't know where every hostage is currently held in order to use a special forces rescue mission. Do you think the Israeli government will show Hamas the Sword of Gideon irrespective of the hostages lives?

Considering Gaza is pretty much under constant blockade (even before recent events) how and where do Hamas get their rockets and munitions from?

The rockets are most probably supplied by Iran. For years there has been supply tunnels into the strip from Egypt. The IDF have discovered and destroyed a lot of the tunnels but the Hamas terrorists can still dig new ones.

Hamas have a plentiful supply of arms from Iran. Not heavy stuff, but enough to cause lots of damage. Not sure how they get them in though. Maybe someone knows?

I feel that Hamas doesn't care about the palestinians in Gaza, and the Israeli govt doesn't care about the Israeli hostages.

They haven't "washed their hands" as such but they are not letting them amend their plans. They'll save them if and when they can. Hamas will likely kill them anyway. Yes to your last question but whatever happens is the work of Hamas, they have committed suicide using Israel as the weapon.

Icidentally, why is the BBC and The Guardian referring to these sub-humans in Hamas as militants and not terrorists.

Sadly many of the hostages will be dead by now, probably abused before too knowing what these savages are like.

Israel has no choice, it has to act, Hamas/Iran went too far this time.

It isn't just Hamas.  Hezbollah are just over the border in Lebanon and are reported to be in Israel.

They wont annihilate Hamas through an attack on the Gazza strip, many will have left already and the leaders werer never there in the first place.  This is more about showing the local populace if you act like savages we will deal with you.

I suspect we will see many 'leaders' having accidents around the ME over the following months once Mossad get going.
