Bbc Quiz : Week 41
Good evening, all!
I hope that everyone here is well!
I started off with a ‘middling’ score of FOUR out of seven this week in the main quiz
https:/
. . . but I could only manage TWO out of five in the junior one:

You can do better than that though, can’t you?

We're still fighting the Superflea and its hotting up. Treatment on prescription from the vet and it had better work. We're on our third bottle of spray for the house. In all the 20 odd years we've had cats, including strays, we've never had fleas before. Vet said it's been a good year for them, not sure good is a word I would use!
Hi, 10CS.
You're only one point below me, so it can't be too bad really, can it? 🙂
Hiya, Roo!
Well done indeed with that impressive 6/7!
The flea situation seems to be the other way around here. This is the first year where my three seem to be reasonably clear of them as the warmer weather comes to an end. I've totally given up on the 'spot on' treatments, as it was taking me several weeks to catch each cat. Hiding crushed up (over-the-counter) flea tablets in their food seems to be working far better for me.
That technique didn't work with the worming tablets I tried to give them all a few days ago though. They simply turned their noses up at the expensive food I'd added the crushed tablets to and walked away. (So that was twenty quid's worth of worming tablets wasted).
I'm now going to try them with some different tablets, that are meant to be meat-flavoured, hidden in some freshly-cooked beef mince in Bisto. I hope that it will work as, at twenty quid a bash, it's getting rather expensive to treat them!
