Whatsapp Scammer

Hello,

Can anyone suggest how I can go about blocking permanently someone most likely a scammer who keeps messaging me via WhatsApp. This person keeps mesaging me however they seem to keep changing the group name but their name remains the same. I have exited the group and have reported them at the same time however they message me again.

Should I contact WhatsApp directly?

Do they use a different mobile number every time?

I would expect a determined spammer may be as difficult to prevent contacting you via WhatsApp than one would who contacted via the telephone.

 

If they always use the same source then perhaps there may be a way of autodetecting that and autodeleting them.

 

No guarantee they are using their real name.
