The answer to frost-covered car windscreens.

Apparently this really works:

Halve a potato and rub the exposed side over your windshield the night before cold weather. 

The next morning, rinse the screen and wipe with your wipers ― you should be good to go, says The Weather Network.

All to do with rge starch in potatoes apparently - forms a barrier between the glass and water in the air.

No need I have a heated front screen in the Jaaag.

Well thank you.

I'd have thought you could also defrost it remotely using the Jaguar Remote/Incontrol app, Toratoratora.
