I suspect you've missed your chance, Sandy.

I doubt the pension would be much as it will be based on length of service in the scheme, but I think I read they receive some sort of redundancy payment- someone may have the details.

4/40 ths accrued? Not very much - they get a bung because so many MPs are unemployed - and it is not really a ladder to anything else

( unlike being a pen pusher in a ministry)
