1,400 innocent Isrealis have murdered by Hamas terrorists during their incursion.

In retaliation 4,600 innocent Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli Govenment.

Is there a formula that equates how many Palestinians must die to avenge an Israeli being killed ?

The sooner Israel makes the ordinary Palestinian on the street realise and understand that Hamas is the common enemy and the cause of all the current killling the sooner they will turn on hamas terrorist scum and hopefully get rid of them themselves...

^Pipe dream- perhaps because the Palestinians are getting mixed messages from their leader Mahmoud Abbas.  If he came out and declared war on Hamas, rather than criticising them for taking hostages but doing nothing to secure their release, maybe that would send a message to the terrorists.

fatah did fight a civil war with hamas over gaza and lost... largely because hamas at that time was still flush with support from the israeli government who were seeking to divide the palestinian leadership.

fatah are still the best placed people to get rid of hamas because gaza is their rightful territory and belongs to the palestinian authority. they have however renounced armed struggle in the interests of peace with israel who would not take kindly to them arming up again.

if israel were to support them however then there might be a chance of driving hamas out of gaza. but they won't.
