Cats???

My neighbour has 2 lovely cats. Recently they have been showing some very strange behaviour. Instead of bringing birds or rodents back to the house they have been depositing sachets of dried cat food on the lawn! The food inside is untouched and they don't like it anyway. I looked out of the bedroom window this morning and there was 4 sachets left there. They must be pinching it from a shed or outhouse. 

Explanations,  please.

You can't explain cat behaviour, they have a mind of their own. Pouches preferable to dead birds or rodents. One of our cats used to steal cat pouches from the box, take them outside where she would chew the end until she had perferations and then suck the food out.

My neighbour says both cats are nicking the sachets.

They either don't like the food and are getting rid of it or trying to open them to eat it. Contrary little s===s

There are Cat Burglars all over the place.
