One final one that I thought I must be able to get but it's eluding me - 6a Broadcast with cracking aria not finished (4)

Aria could be SONG and not finished would make it SON but I can't get further than that.

"with" supplying the W. Never heard of "broadcast" to mean sowing seeds, but you live and learn!

Sorry, it was  lazy explanation.  Broadcast means sow not sowing- and past tense is also broadcast I think
