I think you would need 3 or 4G depends on the service where you live. Can you go into a shop

The problem with a 2G phone is that all 2G will stop working by 2033 at the latest.  That doesn't mean it will work for next 8 or 9 years, it could be much sooner. 

If the phone is very cheap it wouldn't put me off but you do need to be aware.

2G phones can only be used for calls and text, they won't connect to the Internet.  That too is not a bad thing if you understand what you are buying.

As you are hard of hearing you really should buy an amplified phone that is made for people like you

Do not buy a 3G phone.  3G is being turned off within 2 years at the latest, much earlier than 2G

The 3120 is 3G and will stop working within a year or so.

They are both very old phones, probably with very old batteries. There are better, newer cheap phones available.
