dash lights

i have just bought nreg escort 1600 96year the dash board lights and tail lights dont work but everything else does ive checked wiring and fuses all seem fine whats th fault?

no side lights dont work just main and full beam

when you say light switch ,do you mean the indicator ?as this is all i can think of but why would everything else work?

yes.. its the indicator switch as well.
