Agree or not?

Just made some toast, one slice I cut across, the other diagonally. Both exactly the same apart from that but I found the diagonal cut one more appealing and tastier.

Yes they definitely taste better as does tea when taken from bone china cup with saucer. Don't know why but I've always found that. Sandwich and cup of tea anyone?

Cut across is best - if you eat the pointy bits of a diagonal one, you get no filling!
Sandwiches are much more attractive when cut into four cross ways, with may be a twist of cucumber or parsley.
Agree with redcrx & trigger re the carrots - and I know why!
School dinner carrots were always cut in rounds, and had been left so long that they somehow managed to be both waterlogged and tough!
I've cut them in batons ever since, just to banish the memory.
