i live in rented council accomadation in middlesex uk,would i still quilify for any help towards my new morgage in spain from the bourgh barnet coucil,if i give up my tenantsey in the uk, as i would get money towards my morgage,if i were to buy in the countrie i live in now i would get some kind of finachle help.

No you wouldn't! You wouldn't get any help with a mortgage in this country either.
why would you get financial help? I dont understand if you can afford to go from rented to bought why someone would pay you to do so, even in this country
I think they mean a discount? you do get a substantial discount to buy your council property.

However I do remember an aquaintance of mine being paid money to leave their council property ~ they were given a huge amount of money which gave them a deposit to buy a house in Wales.

Not sure if this is still in force, and I very much doubt it would be given for a property abroad.
