It could be good news for people like me (second home in  France), if the EU agree to it. France might consider doing the same. Trouble is, lots of other countries might push for favour, and I don't see the EU being keen on that. They're just like us in that they don't want all and sundry being allowed to live in the EU.

A few individual resorts have expressed a desire for less British, but if what they offer is appealing to young British drinkers then that's what they're going to get.

nope, what the eureich doesnt like or wont tolerate is other countries (whilst they still allow them to exist as such) thinking for themselves and making decisions...they have decided  thats their job when they enslave them and rule from on high

As I understand it France is also pushing for the same, seems one way round it is to issue an 'open' visa but not too sure on the details.

The French, and the Spanish do want the Britsh business.  Something like 1/4 of Spains tourism comes from the UK.  What they dont want is the yob element, and who would, but that applies equally to other countries yobs its just the MSM always say 'Brits not welcome' when often that is a twist of the truth.
