Do you think it needs milk in?   😀

Joking aside, it really is.  I can only think the motor is in the blink.   Any other ideas?

my fridge makes a noise all the time since the day I bought it - but you would think it has having sex with what I can hear of it.

Have you got one of those mooing biscuit jars?

Other than that, no idea.  Is it still cold?  Can you feel the fridge vibrating?  Does it feel hot at the back (outside)?

My fridge is silent, took a long time to get used to it

Naomi - bet you didn't think your question about your fridge would turn into one mentioning sex, vibrating, etc.? 🤣 Anything can happen on AB!

Someone bought me one of those once Barry.  I loved it.

The fridge seems fine.  Still cold.

One of the possible reasons why your fridge is mooing is the compressor or the condenser fan. They make a cow sound if debris, dust, and other particles are present. A little clean-up could help lessen the noise.

Moorea , 😀

I've read that Beko fridges moo 😃 problem with the evaporator. Manual should explain what to do

Oh really, David?  It's an integrated fridge.  I'll have to get it taken out of the unit.  I wonder how dust got in there?

It can find its way into your important little places apparently;-)

It could be the drain pan if the noise is comming from the bottom of the fridge. The drain pan is heated and eveaporates away any condensation that is drained from the fridge. The drain hole is always at the bottom(obvs) and back of the fridge and sometimes has a silly little green or red plastic  plunger to poke out the little hole(I did not type that). The drain has a clear plastic tube which is about ¼ inch diameter and is visible on a free standing fridge at the back. This gets clogged up with gunk in the cleanest fridge and needs to be cleared sometimes. If you fridge is pooling a bit of water at the bottom this little tube is likely blocked. You need to CAREFULLY clear it. Be mindfull not to use something that will break in the tube or damage it. One of those plastic ties is a solution. A long one is handy and make sure not to let it fall in. MOO.

Ever considered it could be a Friesan cow Naomi?

Ha!

Have you checked it's not set on

low?

Got up this morning ready to do battle with the critter - and it's stopped.  Thanks for helping - should it start again I'll follow the advice.

Loved all the humour.   : o)

Togo, I use a cable tie to clear the drain hole in my fridge, works a treat.

There's no water in my fridge and I always wipe the little drain hole when I clean it.  I hope it doesn't start again.  I don't relish the thought of having it taken out of its housing to see if there's any dust behind it.  We had builders in for about a year knocking walls down and building things so it wouldn't surprise me if some of that dust got in there.  It got everywhere else!
