I've watched this series from the start and am hooked, but I'm not sure if it's because it is so awful overall with good storylines.

Those long lingering shots of red busses, the London skyline and architecture; the actors gazing in to the distance; the shonky acting.  Even Hugo Speer can't shine.

The lack of bad language seems unnatural but it is a Beeb afternoon show, it's never going to be Line of Duty.

Anyone else a fan?

I've never seen it (which, given that I watch hardly any telly at all, is far from surprising).  However Google suggests that it's very much a 'Marmite thing', with viewers either loving it or loathing it:

Thanks, Buen, I knew it must have viewers because they keep making it, unlike the dark superior WPC 56 which was a perfect fit for the time slot.

I think I stuck it out for about half an hour then switched off.

I record it and it's perfect for the times I need a  familiar programme that doesn't need a lot of concentration.  Good distraction when I'm tired and stressed

Ive binge watched it from yesterday till today, and I've liked it, apart from the fact that they seem to solve most crimes within a couple of hours lol!

I'm watching Annika now.  Not this minute but I'm half way through series 2
