Samurite. I had put Yellow fever for a serious viral infection transmitted by mosquitos in tropical regions, perhaps that is wrong then?

I think Yellow Fever could sensibly be the answer to both questions, but this is unlikely in a single quiz ........ I can't immediately think of another option but will give it some thought.

You could consider yaws, though I don't think either of these affect CHILDREN particularly.

I have found Yellow-gum in the dictionary--black jaundice, a disease of infants, but can find nothing about it on google so far.

Yaws sounds more likely as I still cannot find further refs. to yellow-gum.
